Rescue Rehab SA’s aim is to uplift the current state of many struggling animal rescue and animal welfare organisations in South Africa by investing in the upskilling of, and sharing knowledge with, their staff and volunteers as well as implementing custom solutions to assist them in making their organisations self-sustaining, effective and financially secure.
We are addressing that with your support.
To uplift the current state of many animal rescue and animal welfare organisations in South Africa by investing in the upskilling of staff and volunteers will constantly drive our aim to help them make their organisations self-sustaining and financially secure.
We are bringing sound management, animal husbandry and admin systems to struggling animal charities in order to ensure their sustainability.
We provide and teach them how to use a fishing rod, we do not provide the fish.
Capacity building struggling animal charities to ensure effective management and their sustainability.
We stand by and promote the internationally accepted Five Freedoms as animals are the ultimate intended beneficiaries of RRSA’s capacity building of their guardians and caregivers.
1. FREEDOM FROM HUNGER AND THIRST
2. FREEDOM FROM DISCOMFORT
3. FREEDOM FROM PAIN, INJURY OR DISEASE
4. FREEDOM TO EXPRESS NORMAL BEHAVIOUR
5. FREEDOM FROM FEAR AND DISTRESS
And what we would like to see added for all wildlife and all farm/food production animals:
6. THE FREEDOM TO BE FREE
